One of them only done wet wall and another said he probably couldn’t get a low profile shower tray down so suggest a bath (I was changing from bath to shower!).
Also when we looked at costs, getting a high end finish which would add value was not much more than basic wet wall and electric shower.
We got full tile floor and walls, new ceiling and lights, black brass fittings and niche with lighting, designer radiator. 5 year labour guarantee.
Also we wanted to book in advance and the work to happen between two dates (as we were away visiting family). Came back tidy bathroom and all cleaned up behind him. 2 others we asked to quote never turned up and one guy never sent the quote cost (after asking 3 times).
