Comment | My theory is that T in the Park was a really important rite of passage/safety valve for tons of Scottish youth, where they could get all the 'party too hard and do stupid shit' energy out in a field away from most folk (yes I know there were neds/stabbings/etc at T but 99% of folk just got mwi and had a good time).
Since the end of T we've had an upsurge in (a) wanker behaviour at multiple city-park based substitute concerts- all these acts used to just play T but now there's a stadium/Park gig every other week
(b) general wanker dirty camper behaviour with folk rocking up to the Highlands, having a mad weekend in tents, lighting fires, bbqs then dumping their stuff, as if they are at T. |
