I just listed my spare room on [spareroom.co.uk](https://spareroom.co.uk) and within a day and a half had around 25 inquiries. And all of those people had a paid membership because SpareRoom has an "early bird" "feature" where you have to pay to contact people within the first 7 days. So I can't imagine how many people would have contacted me if I had it up for 8 days. I ended up showing it to around 4 people (mostly it was me rejecting others, not the other way round) and they all wanted the room. So yeah it's insane at the moment. We really need more housing
