I just graduated with an MEng (civil engineering) from strathclyde this summer. A lot of interviewers for grad jobs told me they specifically look out for UoG and Strathclyde graduates so I personally wouldn't worry about future job applications etc.

Personally really liked Strathclyde, they have fantastic connections with companies with staff forwarding job opportunities onto the students constantly. Some of the staff are amazing and definitely go the extra mile for you if you reach out - one actually sorted me out with a summer placement as they knew I was struggling to find anything due to my prior work commitments, so shout-out to them!!

Only thing that bothered me was how shit the communication was between staff and students, no idea if it's just the civil department or a university wide problem though.

Wish you all the best with your future studies!
