This isn’t what you want to hear, but in my experience finding flats in Glasgow, you really need to view them in person. I’ve taken one on the spot before as there were later viewings and I was certain the flat would be gone had I left it.
I found one when I was a postgrad as well; I paid 25% of the council tax though so the person wasn’t left with 75%.
