Keep an eye on the forecast @ [https://www.mountain-forecast.com/peaks/Ben-Lomond/forecasts/974](https://www.mountain-forecast.com/peaks/Ben-Lomond/forecasts/974) you don't really want to be camping unless its green or below.

I camped last weekend when it was \~30-40pmh, barely slept through the night then my very expensive tent started ripping at 3:30AM and I have no choice but to get up (side note, would highly recommend against the MSR Hubba Hubba for munro summit camping).

Have lights to navigate in the dark and a backup plan for if you have to give up during the night. Not done Ben Lomond so not sure if there are places to get a bit of protection from the wind but something to keep a mind on while you are climbing.

Have fun, its can be tough going, mostly because of the wind, but amazing when it works out.
