You don't want to be socialising with anyone mate your a hotel full of folk with sob stories and here's you with a wee cash in hand job. Once it starts folk will be waiting for you to finish and get home then start chapping, be anything from a couple of tea bags to got a spare 10er.

Like you said your treated worse than a prisoner so just keep your head down and do your time good buddy don't get involved and especially don't be taking a fancy to anyone it just leads to drama no one in there is in their peak mental health state yes the company sounds ideal but nah not only does it bring drama if yous are constantly trying to get in one anothers rooms and the warden is a cunt then they grass you in and the council then sets about chucking one or both out and even going as far as saying reply as couple which is a bit extreme for getting a leg over your now doing a homeless application and waiting for a flat together.

If you are lonely there are usually homeless clubs aye okay they usually in a church but I'd honestly recommend something like that than befriending folk in the hostel your in.

Speak to your homeless officer, badger them about getting you out the hotel into something more suitable, while it probably won't help all that much being a stranger to your homeless officer certainly won't help good buddy and don't take the bad news they got nothing no where to heart either often youl go down the list not up.
