| Comment | Yep, most of us anglophones have no idea the floor area of our properties (especially if we're renting) and instead use the number of bedrooms an bathrooms as the de facto official measure of size. This leads to insane situations such as the flat move I've just made (from one 3 bed flat to another) where the new rent is 20% cheaper but the floorspace of the flat is at least 50% (!!) larger - in the west end too. |
