Comment | Im in the process of selling and have spoken to 5-6 estate agents and had the surveyor out for the HR. My conclusion is that HR values are completely rigged and non-objective. Whilst the single survey report the surveyor produces is fairly strict, when it comes to valuation the agent and seller can basically demand what the surveyor should say. This is the sole reason why places go so consistently for over HR in popular areas like southside and westend. The agent requests the valuation to be artificially deflated compared to recent sale prices in order to stimulate interest and maximise end sale price. Bit fucked really |
