I'm not convinced it is, the population of Glasgow is increasing. Probably some London exodus, coming up here or back home and having enough cash to pay over the odds or people realising that it's actually quite a nice place to live and no you won't immediately get stabbed as soon as you arrive.

The city has always been very unequal, life expectancy can vary as much as 10 years between areas that are only a short walk away. Although the most deprived areas in Scotland are in Inverclyde now.
