| Comment | For the exact reason you mentioned above. When it was T in the Park ticket numbers were falling back in the early 2010s, so they opened it up to unaccompanied 16-18 year olds and gained a whole new audience. The only issue was, some of them couldn't handle the sesh.
Year after year folk were causing carnage in the campsite and people were being found dead in tents from overdoses. Two 17 years olds dying at the 2016 event was the final nail in the coffin.
