| Comment | How would the letting agent even know that you’ve still got the lease with the halls of residence? It’s not really any of their business, is it? You’re renting a property through them, will be registered for council tax etc etc and the fact that you’ve still got your room at uni is neither here nor there. A friend is in the same situation having just moved from halls to a private let (via a letting agency). She’s got her room at the halls until mid-July so it’s not uncommon. |
