| Comment | I would just phone the letting agent and speak with the manager if possible, explaining very matter-of-factly that you had a lease with the uni for a ‘full year let’, as per ALL university lodgings (I think there are two types - 40 week or 52 week versions or something like that) and obviously your rental period is Sept-Sept and is fully paid for the year, as per your agreement. I’d have some red flags going on if I were you though. Have you researched the letting agency at all? It seems a bit odd. Is it possible there was something in the reference that’s concerning them perhaps? Just trying to see it from the agents point of view... |
