Comment | See, now I’m overthinking this and wondering if they are looking to find a reason to decline you? It’s not actually possible for you to give proof that you’ve left the Halls of Residence because you’ve got a full year rental agreement that expires in September. And, I’m assuming, the Letting Agent is well aware of this. So... despite getting a guarantor in place, it would appear that they are asking the impossible here. The only reason for that would be if they wanted a reason to back out of the deal. You’re doing the right thing though - researching, getting other opinions and being very reasoned in your approach. As you’ve said, call them on Monday. You never know, maybe you just got a new worker or something and they are naive regarding uni letting contracts.
