It makes no sense to go ‘we bought building for x amount so need to make x amount profit in the first year to cover it’. They don’t need to make £2m profit, the number that will go through their accounts will be the annual loan interest. The building will generate earnings over many years and will likely have appreciated in value over this period 🤷🏻♀️ |
