They gay clubs are open until 4am, like most clubs in the rest of the UK. Mostly likely because there is less disturbance but shows that it’s not a limit, the license board just needs to be happy there won’t be trouble if the club is allowed to open to 4am.

10am - 10pm alcohol sales in shops is pish but done to reduce drink deaths.

There are restaurants open later and McDonald’s/ kfc/ etc are open until 4am on the weekends. The rest close because it’s not profitable.

Pubs closing at 12 is also pish, but it’s not all pubs you get a few open until 3am like howlin wolf and speakeasy.
