| Comment | I cycle up for a dip fairly often.
I'm a pretty keen cyclist (don't drive, cycle for work) and find it somewhat taxing. Takes me 45mins+ from Anniesland. The bit to Milngavie reservoir is fine but then it's just a solid uphill slog to Mugdock village. (The hill is called vomit hill & that's an apt name honestly.)
Absolutely perfect swim spot though. Occasionally groups of young team blaring music and chucking tins of monster about, but only really when the sun's out. |
