Like the other poster said, this information will be kept confidential by HR. Even if in some rare case it wasn't, you shouldn't feel ashamed or embarrassed. 90% of people I know suffer from some kind of mental health problems, and it is no longer the stigma that it once was.

Also if you can get help through your workplace, it will save you a lot of money. NHS waiting lists are extremely long and private therapy is expensive. However if this is not an option, it is still worth it to spend money on things that will improve your mental health, even if it means having to cut back spending on other things.
