| Comment | Thanks so much for the answer. I definetely agree at least to an extent just base don personal experience. I've got quite a working class English accent having learned the language in cockney primarily, and I was expecting that to have a huge effect on how people treated me, because I always thought Scots would immediately take a dislike to me for sounding English.
