| Comment | Ha ha, I had the same experience a few years ago. I turned up at a viewing on time but the family were showing the property and asked I wait in the kitchen as the last viewer was still there and 'more likely to be able to afford this place'.
I has turned up in old jeans and a hoodie but I had spent the day decorating and just put on anything.
Then again while showing me round they asked if I could afford it.
Now I am not some rich person but I knew I could afford it and more if needed. In the end I did not bid as the condition of the place made me think it had more issues under the hood. |
