Comment | I live in the city centre and would recommend that you do the same. Relying on buses makes me miserable, whereas being able to walk or cycle is a real joy.
That end of town does have a lot of homeless people. I lived very close to there, on Howard Street for years and loved it. So, it REALLY is not all doom and gloom. The trains are electric and so the air quality is not going to be massively affected. I have an air quality monitor which says that my air quality is good. I am near Hope Street, which someone else references.
I would say that Glasgow generally has decent air quality, which I always assumed was due to the river making the city quite windy. |
