| Comment | Bear in mind that garages may rip you off cos your American (rotors/city center) and you are going in to ask them to find any problems. I looked up your other posts and it seems you have bought a Clio, many will steer clear ( see what I did there?) of Renault but I have had a few, and still have one and they are not really any worse than any other maker.If it starts and runs ok, goes thru gears easily then the most likely wear parts are discs(rotors), pads,track rod ends,balljoints and drop links and Renault's signature breaking part - front springs. Clio's are fairly reliable and there are zillions of them, so parts will be cheap. Another thing to bear in mind, if you are competent, the cost of tools and parts will be far below the cost of a garage repair - and you will always have the tools. I would offer to help but going on holiday for a few weeks very soon. Good luck. |
