| Comment | There's still a long way to go! I'm usually pretty confident even in congested roads without dedicated cycling paths (and cycling is my main mode of transport), but my mum visited a few weeks ago so we hired a bike and I noticed pretty quickly how badly connected the city was. Just to start from the rental place outside Strathclyde to get to Glasgow Greens is hell, without any dedicated lanes.
Only confident bikers will cycle as a primary mode of transport until we do something about that and add more dedicated and connected lanes around the city |
