| Comment | Maybe because arsehole drivers driving up the back of them are more of a hazard than the people walking at ~5mph. Maybe also if an accident happens between a cyclist and a pedestrian its usually barely an issue whereas cars are 2 tonnes of steel and if an accident happens between a cyclist and a car, death isn't off the table, especially when drivers are very open about their absolute disdain for cyclists and you cut about brake checking each other out of childish spite.
I'll keep cycling on pavements where I have control of the situation thanks, until such times as this backwards country catches up to other places and implements proper cycle lanes. Am I fuck putting my life in the hands of the fucking wanks cutting about our roads. You can sit there and seethe about it all you want and moan about being 'feart', it'll likely be you who causes the accident from getting raging and impatient by the sounds of it. |
