It is becoming increasingly gentrified. Especially around the Barras. All the old trad pubs & greasy spoons are slowly disappearing and craft beer & brioche burger type joints are metastasising from the city centre/merchant city. In a few years Calton will be another trendy area and locals will be priced out.
