| Comment | The Charing Cross junction is a joke. It's so dangerous as drivers are getting geared up to go on a motorway or not fully cooled off after leaving it.
I am a cyclist and all of the pedestrian crossings are bike friendly but nowhere to go after you cross. The modifications to the pedestrian crossings was presumably made due to the difficulty faced by cyclists wanting to pass through this junction. It's a case of mount the pavement, use the crossings then back on the road again.
We all hear talk of closing the M8 or returning Charing Cross to the people but nothing ever seems to happen. |
