\- Only use Facebook Marketplace for local pick up.
\- Never pay for things online unless its through something like Ebay/PayPal where you have some protection.
\- When buying from someone check their profile, does it look legit? When does it say they joined facebook? If it's 2019 then thats a red flag to me.
\- If you're selling, check the cash! I know it's awkward and you should be able to trust someone but check the right amount is there and that the money is real. Facebook Marketplace is an easy way to use fake notes that wouldn't be accepted elsewhere. |
