Whenever I order anything with fries from Uber or Deliveroo the fries are always cold. Fortunately I'm a creep and like cold fries. Sometimes orders just sit and wait while the apps try and find a courier who wants to take it. I've turned up to annoyed restaurants a few times after accepting a job moments before to be told the order's been sitting for an hour or such. Or if the driver doesn't use a thermal bag or keeps the bag open during transit then there's the culprit. Unless you're literally round the corner from the restaurant and it's not winter.
I think ultimately it's just a really flawed system that the apps go by. |
