Hazarding a guess here.

A combination of a few things:

* Rentals became scarcer around COP26 because a lot of landlords opted for Airbnb at the time, this forced up prices of remaining proprties.
* As lockdowns lifted, people that had moved out the city gradually have started moving back.
* The rise of Barclays and other businesses relocating to Glasgow is drawing more people to the city.
* I know many people (myself included) that moved back to Glasgow since Covid, this is because we wanted to be closer to friends and family, prices are cheaper, and remote working meant we could.

Edit: I actually plan on moving out of Glasgow again, so if i assume other do the same, these trends may alter in some shape.
