Comment | Unfortunately people like yourself moving back because it’s cheaper to live here (than the city you went to work/ live in, presumably London but could be wrong) - is central to this entire issue. The attraction of “cheaper cities” shouldn’t even be a thing, remote working people should be paid wages that reflect cost of living where they reside. If you worked in glasgow you wouldn’t see it as cheap, it would just be standard or even expensive rent rates. No harm to you but you’ve just outlined the current issue we’re having with rent and buying of property. |
