I was actually thinking of using a liquid sander or sugar soap to clean it - then undercoat - light sand - first coat of paint - light sand final coat?
Do you think that’s over kill? Don’t need any filling done just tape the glass panels.
I used a oil based gloss on my personal front door (lime green) it was good but it took a few goes to ensure no runs etc.
Also on paint any recommendations as I was planning on using Valspar Exterior Wood and Metal Paint? Probably Satin finish.
We used the gloss and interior paint from valspar/BnQ to match a Graham and Brown / farrow colours pretty well.
