| Comment | Assuming you mate was talking a out Kelvingrove Park (which seems likely if there's hordes drinking and eating) you might be thinking about:
Toni's which was on Gibson St and very near the park, but I'm not sure it was ever that popular cause it shut.
Eusebi, also on Gibson Street, which I seem to remember getting into trouble for all the takeaway packaging dumbed by their customers.
Or Pesano, which isnt that close (but not far either) from the park, and was crazy popular for a while, so I could imagine hordes with boxes.
There's also Baffo, which is pretty close to Kelvingrove Park (and quite good!) but I doubt it was the origin of the pizzahorde.
But if your mate wasnt in the West End, then I'm not sure I can think of anywhere. Good luck! (and if you just want good pizza, I'd recommend Little Italy on byres road) |
