| Comment | Aye, never ate there but the layout downstairs was perfect. Low ceiling, bar at the side rather than the back so you can still see the stage when you're queuing, benches along the side... Pillars to be expected in a basement. It never felt like a step down from Sleazy's, just a good addition. Captain's was great of course too.
As you say, when they started trying to be fancy they blew it. Should have stuck to trying to be like Sleazy's rather than Box. |
