Can live far more comfortably here than I could where I was before. There's a constant supply of interesting events in the arts/music/culture sectors that means I can find something good to do whenever I'm free. Folk talk to each other and there's a general sense of solidarity among Glaswegians as opposed to the conflict and "me before everyone else" mentality affecting a lot of cities.

Only real downsides are the sectarianism and the weather, but Vitamin D supplements and earplugs on Orange Walk mornings have kept those issues at bay! |
