Comment | I used to drink heavily in my 20s but developed chronic gout and now a single can of beer is enough to trigger a gout attack. I replaced alcohol with water. Sounds boring, but the physical act of drinking helped me to ease my cravings and it gave me something to do with my mouth. I replaced getting stupid drunk time with tv shows and anime. I found that shows are more fun to watch sober, and I actually remember what I watched when I’m done. If you want a good place to start, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is a pretty good primer. |
