1. Their words for Saturday night in the town / drinking. “women dress like whores”. Having spent a lot of time in the USA. Most nightspots in the USA the ladies are more conservatively dressed.
2. People call people cunts. Some times in anger, some times as a term of endearment.
3. We don’t care about j walking.
4. Drink driving laws here are very strict. You would be as well not drinking.
5. Most bars don’t require a tip. Usually it’s custom to tip 10% in restaurants. If you get bad service you don’t tip. They won’t attack you.
6. Uber only works down town, anymore than about 20mins outside of town. Getting Ubers is tough. |
