I’ve noticed this on the trains; I slightly touched on it in the main post:
We were on the Quiet Coach on the way down and back from London a year ago and on each trip there was at least one parent turning on an iPad with some cartoon playing at max volume (why no headphones‽). Those kids will grow up thinking this behaviour is just fine and turn into the people I’ve highlighted.
