Gonnae be honest here: I think you’re totally right.

The behaviour highlighted in my post has gotten way worse since lockdown.

Has isolation worn away people’s situational awareness to the point that they don’t act any different in public than private as they do not remember social norms in public?

Is it also people who were 10-12 years old when lockdown started (so they weren’t able to be on their own), then suddenly encouraged to be in public for the first time before they could learn these social skills?

Just spitballing here.
