As far as I know mcds staff are on more than min wage but that may have changed . No arguments that they work very hard .

Supermarket staff /shop staff do work hard , 100% and the job can be shit at times . I’ve done that and I’ve done pubs and Id definitely say working the pubs have the shitier end of the stick. Working times, minimal contracted hours and dealing with drunk pricks for starters .

I do think that the employers should pay a wage that means that tips aren’t necessary but that’s opinion and not a reality at the moment . If I can afford to go out and spend 50 quid I can afford to throw a 5er in a tip jar that helps someone who helped facilitate my night
