| Comment | I used to do a few deliveries on the weekend and a lot of the time, even a 1 quid tip here and then was the difference between making minimum wage or not. If you ride in peak hours you can make above minimum but those peaks don't last for long. If it's your full time job, you're probably making less than minimum wage most days. Sometimes it's just luck because it's not salaried - you're paid per order. Have gone a couple hours before without an order, which obviously you don't get anything for.
I never expected a tip, but those people who did tip, I really did appreciate. |
