| Comment | My favourite place to buy fruit is World Foods, an Indian shop just off Pollokshaws Road on the edge of Govanhill. There are several varieties of dates (Iranian dates and Medjool are the best), good juicy tangerines/oranges/clementines, fresh peaches and plums, and some more exotic stock. The whole place is a hidden gem, I highly recommend it for fresh produce, teas, spices and kitchenware. |
