| Comment | Had a good rant about this a while ago that the gentrification of shawlands is just absolutely out of hand it’s disgusting. Less than 10 years ago nearly 80% of people of working age in shawlands were city centre office workers, earning a good salary. Today I look at the housing market and walk through that area and I’m utterly horrified with scores of upper middle class wanks totin about giving it “ yah the property prices up here are like seeeewwwww cheap” shoving professional Glaswegians out of the area! £800 quid to rent a half dilapidated ONE BEDROOM flat and the same flats going for 170k. |
