| Comment | Second Opportunities in Govan. They are a charity and they will take it. I work there and I collect/ deliver their washing machines. If you wanted to get it down the stairs it depends. Smaller washers like 6/7kg ones I can take up stairs myself just by hugging it. The big ones, if you had to, just kinda walk it by putting the weight from corner to corner. When you get to the stairs get your hand in the drum, where the lip is lift from there and lift it down stair by stair. Take you ages and very risky so don't bother if you don't have to. We will come collect it free of charge.
Top tip, if you need to get your washing machine in the gap but don't want to damage the lino, put fairy liquid on the floor and it'll slide in. |
