| Comment | why does anyone do anything artistic? it's not about the money, it's about the joy of seeing your work out in the world and seeing people connect with it. yeah, some of it is just teenagers spray painting dicks, but some of it is really cool.
i remember freaking out when my friend was coming into glasgow in the morning one day, seen the MF DOOM mural and messaged me a photo saying "just remember all caps when you spell the man name" i was so thrilled to hear about it that i basically cycled as fast as i could to see it because i have good memories of listening to MF DOOM as a teenager riding bikes with my friend's (one of the one's who messaged me) hell, i grabbed this photo in celebration.

i'd say the joy that bought me was worth any number of graffiti that says something dumb like "ham 4 chez" (this was a real one i seen) |
