Stay in on the left and people have no bother passing you. I freewheel down to gather speed and then change gears til it's comfortable to cycle up. It's not easy though! Took me a few months to get used to the incline particularly southbound.
I've always tried to stop people coning down the wrong way (if safe) and tell them. Sometimes works. With them locking the doors again those people might be less common now as you have to buzz to get in. |
