Thats partially because its signposted so confusingly. Its really easy to get mixed up about which tunnel is which until you're used to it. They also sometimes close one tunnel or the other which makes people want to go the wrong way cos its so fast to freewheel down. Super dangerous civic design imo; having two tunnels for the directions really far apart incentivises this behaviour imo |
