Phoning the fire brigade to come out and check this is a collosal waste of time and resourses especially if the door opened and the smoke alarm went off. Wouldn't be surprised if it cost the equivalent of several thousand pounds per call out.
No doubt there was a Da doing the tea towel wafting while the door was open too.
Not only that but imagine there was an actual fire and these guys are called out to check if someone is burning their dinner.
If you are too scared to chap their door, hang your head out the window. If you see your neighbours leaving then yiu leave.
Im sure your neighbour would be the first to call the firebrigade if a fire broke out in there home. They likely value thir stuff more than you value their stuff. |
