I hope yours goes away soon. It was the most difficult moment in my life. I was covered in spots and I would get them everywhere. Beyond my body, I had them sometimes on my face and at the bottom of my sole. The itching was unbearable. My GP surgery at the time kept sending me back saying it's pityriasis rosea, that is nothing and no amount of me telling them that the itch is unbearable moved them. Also their methodology of diagnosis was googling images of pityriasis rosea and telling me it looks the same. Only going private the doctor figured out what it was and gave me the appropriate meds. I asked them to send a letter to my GP surgery to tell them what is going on so I can get the meds prescribed by them. When I went back to my GP, they initially refused to renew my prescription because "not in the NHS guidelines". |
