| Comment | I checked this recently having got an email.about a change. I se tell reference number from.older emails and it says they still hold it.
Go to SDS website > I'm a tenant > Is my deposit protected
Deposit Account Number (search your emails), paste it in. It should confirm. If all else fails that DAN number is your proof. It isn't you who makes the deposit with them so no matter what you should be covered.
PS I've tried to get a deposit back from them once and they sided with the landlord who took pics of my place before I had moved out and said I left it in a state (pics dated a week before I left etc). They gave me 20 quid back. |
