| Comment | They are flats that cannot get a mortgage. You buy them and renovate, but normally needs to be someone who can do it themselves - ie have their own guys. Its normally simple stuff like water ingress that has been left, which 9 times out of 10 is a broken gutter or down-pipe. My mate bought a whole close and did them up one by one. Some flats took longer than others, but was actually a good investment for him. He did all the decor and plumbing himself, and had his two guys help on new doors and spark work. |
